Het was al mogelijk om ONLINE te bestellen op de website van Hofstadtax, maar nu is de officiele Hofstadtax app in de Appstore (Apple) en Playstore (Android) beschikbaar. De app werkt nagenoeg hetzelfde als de Uber app, alleen rekent u na de rit gewoon af bij de chauffeur. Dit kan contant maar ook met PIN of creditcard, zo\u00a0kunt u achteraf nooit geconfronteerd worden\u00a0met ongewenste verassingen ten aanzien van de ritprijs. Voor zakelijke klanten bestaat de mogelijkheid om ritten ‘op rekening’ te boeken via de app, waarbij er een maandelijkse factuur wordt verstuurd met een duidelijke specificatie van alle ritten.<\/p>\n

Zoals iedereen heeft gemerkt\u00a0is Uber veel in het nieuws geweest de afgelopen jaren, maar veel gebruikers weten bijvoorbeeld niet dat een taxi bij Hofstadtax niet duurder is dan bij Uber Black. In veel gevallen is een taxi bij Hofstadtax zelfs goedkoper dan bij Uber. Hofstadtax heeft niet\u00a0alleen een abonnementensyteem, maar u betaalt altijd dezelfde ritprijs die vooraf op de app wordt getoond, terwijl bij Uber een richtprijs wordt aangegeven die aanzienlijk stijgt als het druk is.<\/p>\n

Tot slot bent u er bij Hofstadtax\u00a0van verzekerd dat u een ‘echte’ professionele taxichauffeur krijgt, die meer dan de wettelijke basisopleidingen heeft gevolgd, in plaats van een bijklussende student of huisvader in een C-segment auto.<\/p>\n
